I live in a suburb of Cuyahoga County. Do you have facilities in the suburbs? Yes, we have 17 convenient locations to serve you including a health center in Strongsville, a new location in Westlake on the west side and an expanded location in Beachwood on the east side. If I have a medical emergency and I go to the nearest emergency department, is it covered? Yes, “true” emergency visits are covered with co-pays due from the patient. If it is deemed a non-emergent visit, it is still covered at with a different level of co-pay due from the patient.
How do I schedule an appointment or find a primary care physician? 216-778-8818 is the dedicated phone number for Select members to call to make a guaranteed appointment within five days and to find a physician. Our caring staff is ready to assist you with any questions Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Where can I find information about the physicians on staff? View our Online Physician Directory. You can search by name, specialty, department, location and more.
Will I have online access to handle my medical affairs? Starting in December 2011, MetroHealth will offer MyChart, our new online health management tool that gives you secure 24/7 access to you and your family’s medical records from home or anywhere with an Internet connection. With MyChart you can request or cancel appointments, view test results and more. Learn more about MyChart.
Do you have any urgent care centers for minor medical issues? Yes. MetroExpressCare, our urgent care clinic, has a location at our Broadway Health Center in Slavic Village and at our West Park Health Center on West 150th Street.
My child is in college out-of-town, is he/she covered? Your child is covered for emergency visits and urgent care visits with co-pays due from the patient. All other medical situations must be provided by MetroHealth physicians.
