Who We Are

General surgeons are involved in the diagnosis and management of diseases that affect these organ systems.

All of MetroHealth's surgeons have completed at least five years of residency training in general surgery, are board certified or board eligible in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and hold academic appointments at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Many of them have also completed additional fellowship training in specific subspecialty areas of general surgery, such as: bariatrics, breast, colorectal, complex gastrointestinal, endoscopy and laparoscopy, endocrine, and head and neck — their subspecialty training is the focus of their practice.
